Our planned partnership will deal with issues in the area of sustainable development, more specifically ecological footprints, consumption and human rights. Our intention is to actively work with the raising of awareness in these issues through discussions and activities that will inspire the pupils to use their creativity to engage in this work. Our objectives are to increase knowledge and raise awareness among both pupils and staff about the importance of for example recycling and that this is a global issue. The objective is also to inspire pupils to actively work with issues concerning consumption and human rights and to invoke a feeling of how important the actions of each individual are on a global level – that there is a way for everyone to change the course of events. Our objective for the school is to raise an awareness of the school’s possibility to influence the surrounding society in a positive direction. We also aim for the staff to inspire and find inspiration to work with these issues on an everyday basis within the frames of the regular curricula of the various subjects.

 There will be four schools involved in this project: Sweden (coordinator), Turkey, England and Bulgaria.
